Tree Trimming and Removal

John is excellent to work with! He is extremely professional and takes pride in his work. He responds in a very timely manner and is easy to talk with. He is the only contractor who pointed out concern with possible underground wiring before removal of the trees and what he needed to do to make sure where wires could be for my safety with no possible damage to my house. His pricing was extremely fair. I highly recommend him for any tree removal or landscaping needs.

Land Leveling and Grading - Small Scale (less than 1 acre)

John was the most professional out of everyone from my thumbtack project. It's why I hired him without second thoughts. He was always sure to communicate and came out twice before we even began to make sure we were on the same page. He also split our project into two phases to accommodate affordability for us. We only have one phase completed so far but hope to start the second soon once it works for our timeline. He is very flexible and can adjust during the project as needed. I will say sometimes he is running behind schedule when it comes to meeting times, but this is to be expected especially with traffic and this type of work schedule. I will continue to hire him again.

Project consisted of regrading our backyard, installing what I call the structure (surge rock) of a dry riverbed, removing a large tree and it's stump and spreading 50/50 blend of soil on newly graded area. 

First impressions are key and before we even received the quote from him, I knew he was a perfect fit for the job. Very personable, passionate about his work, willing to work within our budget and even explained to me how to save money by doing things myself such as spreading the grass seed and etc. Out of the several quotes we received John was the only one to follow up to make sure we understood the estimate and asked if we had any questions/ concerns.

The project itself was a success! He kept us informed of all deliveries, sent out daily emails with updates and also went above and beyond the scope of work to improve the overall aesthetics. Finally, after it was complete, he called to discuss what was done, answer anymore questions and assured me that if we had any questions down the road that he is always available.

We will definitely use Destra in the future - highly recommended!

 Used John At Destra Solutions and we were very pleased! He came to our house after having multiple tons of earth and boulders dropped into my front yard by a transport company. He then took my vision for how it should look and enhanced it by adding landscape features that would greatly improve overall drainage. Now water sheds like never before!! Also removed several trees with very little impact on our natural setting. I will use him again whenever I need this kind of work in the future!!

 After reading the both reviews I went to the BB&B website to see if Destra had any negative comments.  What I found was an A+ rating and decided to give Destra a shot.  My husband and I live in Bedford in North Raleigh.  We needed ideas for a facelift for our cookie cutter house, we needed a new look for our outdoor area and landscape.  Destra's design service gave us exactly that.  We were given 3 different options to choose from, all of them were great and so much better than what other landsape company's provided us.
